Revealed by a double-sided Jacquard weave, the visual motifs of this merino wool and cashmere blanket draw inspiration from specialized jockey jerseys and horse rugs created at the Hermes workshop on the Faubourg Saint-Honoré that operated from the beginning of the 20th century up to the 1960s. On the principle of heraldry, the study of coats of arms, each stable had its own motif. These motifs were emblazoned on the jerseys worn by jockeys and on the horse rugs, making it possible to identify the stables during races.
